Birth By Sleep

So we're about a month away from birth by sleep and this game is looking to be fantastic.

Quote:Ten years before Sora took up the Keyblade, a Keyblade Master, Master Xehanort and his apprentice, Vanitas suddenly disappear, and around the same time, a strange but malicious species known as the Unversed begin to appear. Believing this to be the foreshadowing of a great disaster, Keyblade Master Eraqus sends his three apprentices, Terra, Aqua and Ven to locate Master Xehanort and Vanitas.

In Ultimania, when asked about Birth by Sleep, Nomura answered: "Birth by Sleep will be a very important game that collects everything about the series into one story. With the three main characters, the story is as big as one of the numbered Final Fantasies. We put in a lot of connections to it in Days, and I think that a lot of questions and unknowns from the previous game will be answered in Birth by Sleep. Also, there will be quite a few original characters from previous making an appearance. This game is set the farthest in the past of any other, so it connects to Kingdom Hearts, but the main characters are three that haven’t appeared in the other games. So how their story will end, which will of course be shown in the game, will leave you wondering even more after the game has finished."

It should interesting to note that Ventus is going to be voiced by the same person who voiced Roxas and that Vanitas' voice in the latest trailer is the same japanese actor as Sora.

And so far, the disney worlds involved are:

Sleeping Beauty
Snow White
Cinderella
Lilo And Stich (the space part of it)
Neverland
Disney Town
Olympus Colliseum
(rumoured worlds are jungle book, atlantica and pinnochio)


And a FF character is confirmed, Zack will be making an apperance continuing the trend of a character appearing in the olympus colliseum.

Also confirmed are the sombodies of the first 6 members of the organisation, that being the somebodies of Xemnas, Xigbar, Xaldin, Vexen, Lexeaus and Zexion.

You can expect over sombodies to make an apperance too, but they're not confirmed.

well, the game's out if anyone cares....

yeah, its out but its only out in Japan. No english option. Also its anti-piracy protection is actually working for a change! Lot of hacked PSP owners out there not happy about this one bit. Not bothered myself since I neither speak nor read Japanese. From what I have managed to figure out from watching vids and translating the game is supposed to play much like KH1 and 2 on the PS2 so I imagine you KH fans might actually want to try this out once it gets an english release.

I certainly would, there's rumours that we'll get it in May but that's only a rumour.

You've got a hacked PSP, there's all sorts of ways to update your firmware now so you can play more recent games.

In the US it's supposed to come out on September 7th and like CEK said it's supposed to play like KH 1 and 2 and I'm buying it as soon as it comes out thats for certain. Heres a link to how its going to look http://www.geek.com/articles/games/kingd...-20100518/
