my expectations for this game are extremely high, due to the fact that they keep pushing back the release date. If it is taking this long it has to be perfect, i think after the fallout of FF12 (i personally liked it) they are going over this game with a fine tooth comb to make sure everything is rock solid.

I think they are trying to iron out what's left of the crappiness of it. So that when it is released it's good. But I've been wrong before....

I really, really like the look of XIII so far. I've only seen trailers and demos, right enough, but they caught my interest enough to have my prebook my copy today ^_^ The battle system is one of the things I'm most interested in, really looking forward to it.

I was impressed when I heard the English voice actors.
They sound pretty decent and I thought "Well if they sound good then maybe the rest of the game won't tank."
Atleast I don't have to play it with the voice's off and the subtitles on. Like a certain game I won't mention.
Graphics ans game play are always impressive, but voices?
They actually have to bother trying with that part or the whole game just sounds cheap and tacky, no matter how glossy the graphics.

I remember a certain thread that suggests otherwise. Hehe. I bet you can guess which.

Basically...the thing I'm most concerned about is the battle system. And hold your horses people, im not a purist like all those people who wet themself when they saw FFXII trailers. I am open to change.

However, the combat looks like Kingdom Hearts, a combat system I detested. Whilst I enjoyed KH, it was for its Soundtrack, Story and Disney element. The combat was very meh.

It's still turn based, which is great, but seeing Lightning down multiyple attacks whilst in midair makes me think of Sora. And yeah...I dont want to.

Also, the young male character who appears to be a playable character, looks crap. The rest look interesting enough.
