What book are you currently reading?

There's an Inkheart movie? (Inkheart is the name of the first book)

And at the same time as Inkdeath I'm currently reading something called Way of Shadows, can't remember the author. It was hard to get into, then it got fast, and now it's slow again so it's taking me forever.

So it's a series of books?
I may have to read them.
The film was pretty good. It's got Bredan Fraser, Paul Bettany and a few others who's name's I can't remember.
It was about the character's coming out of the book and trying to get back, among other stuff.
Paul Bettany's character was a fire manipulator and he was an amazing character.

It's probably different to the book, but I really liked it.

William Golding - Lord of the Flies

I'm doing some reading challenge for school where I need to read 15 books in a few months. Easy enough, except for the fact that all the books I read are bricks. -.-

Anyway, I've decided that I'd better read smaller books until I've got my last 6, I think I have until the 20th to finish the challenge. >.<

I could easily do that.
I've gotten through 3 books in one day with none less than 300 pages.

I'm still waiting for the new Kate Furnivall book to come out.
I'm getting really impatient.

I used to be able to do that, but I've gotten lazy with my reading. Shame, really. I love mah books, but I can never really be bothered reading them anymore. :<

Sometimes I'll go through books and sometimes I'd rather watch a film or play a computer game. It depends on my mood, but I read really quickly when I do pick up a book.

I just watched the Inkheart movie yesterday - 'twas quite awesome, and very different to the book, but good all the same which is saying a lot. I usually hate all movie adaptions of books (excluding LOTR) because of the bits taken out and bits added in, but the bits added in Inkheart still made a great story. They made it impossible to continue and make the next 2 books into movies, though.

Now still trying to read Way of Shadows... It's such slow going I keep putting it down after ten minutes or so.

I've moved on to a 35-year-old copy of Watership Down.

There's something really special about the smell of old books.

I noticed that about Inkheart the film, but I've ordered the books from the library so can't wait to find out what happens in the books and what differences there were.
