Remake or No Remake?

I really would like to see a remake. The original game is good and it has a nice story, I'm not saying it sucks. The only thing I hate in that game is graphics. It's kinda irritating that characters's hands look like bricks and I can't see their faces. Maybe I'm just too used to PS2 games and their graphics but I can't help the way I feel. It's not the end of the world if Square Enix doens't make a remake but it would save my nerves.

So much of the game that made the game would be lost if it was remade with, let's say.. FFVII:AC type of graphics.

I feel like a remake is a bad idea true th graphics would improve severely but the games has way to many nostalgic moments for me and i feel like a remake would disrupt that very love that i have for this game.
