Which Game Had A Sadder Storyline?

I agree with Naj, VII has a much sadder storyline than VIII or X and it makes sense. Which is more than can be said for the other two.

How is 8 sad again? Im racking my mind for a really sad moment in the game.

10 is sadder, but then there are sadder games then those two, even within the series. Until the ending, FF4 is constantly a sad game. FF12 had a couple of sad deaths too.

Outside the series, MGS3 takes a dump on those games. Even Star Ocean: the second story had a few sad moments, or maybe it was that freaking 'Rena's Theme' that did it. :P

I guess you could say that VIII is sad with the bits about Squall's parents dying and him being an orphan. Also when you think Rinoa is gonna die. Atleast I think it was meant to be sad, I was like "so?"
