Ending...

Who of you all liked the ending/storyline of this game? and what was your favorite part of the ending?

Yeah I liked it. It didn't make a lot of sense in places, and left stuff wide open for a nonexistent sequel. But it was the first FF I played. IV's my fave though, it's soooooo cute.

I cant remember the ending fully, as it was quite some time ago when i completed, i do remember that i really enjoyed the ending though.

I think it was half term and i spent the afternoon trying to defeat the final boss, i was very much underleveled, (it was the first FF game i played, i rushed through it). Upon completion i felt an immense feeling of relief, and happily sat back to enjoy the ending.

Needless to say, ive been a huge fan since and now i am always somewhat overlevelled when it comes to final bosses LoL

i did n't really like 9 so much. i haven't beaten it yet but i have seen the ending of 12....that's pretty good too.

I liked the game, the storyline was nice, it think this game had the best story next to FF VII of course, the ending was good. nice video, and in my opinion ultimecia is the most powerfull final boss of all FF, Kuja Sephiroth and the rest were all easy, Ultimecia was a bit hard to beat. And of course, it's only my opinion, it was the ff with more romance in the story, and the game itself had a lot of technology, gunblades, flying Gardens, Ragnarok the best ship, etc.

Yeah I'd say Ultimecia was tough. Just getting to her was a trial and then she had three or four incarnations of herself.
That's serious battling. Sephiroth just had himself and jenova and I gotta admit after all the time I spent playing and getting into the game, he just didn't measure up. I thought he would be tougher.
I think that square saw that and made Ultimecia super tough, then thought about it again and said "we won't make any money if it's too tough" hence the crappy Kuja.
Sin was just too easy considering it was the ultimate evil. I did feel sorry for Yuna losing her aeons though.
And don't even talk to me about XII. I sat and watched that instead of playing it. I set my gambits and let the characters do all the work. I think I went and got a sandwich at one point. And the ending was pointless.

I liked the ending. Thouh I can not agree with any of you who think Ultimecia was hard. Not even on my first time. Ok I was slightly surprised that I couldn't pick who was gonna start fighting her but I managed untill I had my dream team out and then I just spammed Lionheart over and over again.

Anyway like I said I really liked the ending as it gave closure to everything. The storyline was so so and except for Ultimecia the characters IMO really lacked in the development part

Yeah the characters were kinda flat and I don't think the ending really gave them too much closure I mean Zell got his hots dogs, Irvine got Selphie and Quistis got to talk to Cid and Edea. What kind of ending is that for them? It's like they didn't have anything else. Even Seifer got his mates back. I do think they should have done a scene where Squall got told who his parents were. They would have been a nice tie up.

I for one think it was good that they didn't just throw it in your face wich they still did with all the hints they gave. And I do feel it gave closure since the characters were kinda flat they didn't really have much stuff to tie up anyway. they all continued their lifes on garden and Seifer I felt, finally came to peace with himself. and the final scene were they reveal squals face qich was just to tell us that he did survive if anyone would have thought otherwise wich still to this day many people do even though they have seen the ending. The one thing I do not like about the story is how they did throw that love theme in our faces.
