Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I bought Final Fantasy XI (starter kit, for PC) from Game Stop yesterday. It was only 2 dollars so I really couldn't pass it up.

So when I got home I followed the direction and started installing everything.

Then on Step 5 it says: If you don't have a PlayOnline account, select "Start PlayOnline Registration!" to create a new PLayOnline account and acquire a PlayOnline ID.

So I everything was going fine until it asked how old are you. I naturally up 55 years old. (I'm really only 15 years old) So then a few steps later it asked for a credit card number. I don't have one of those. I just want to play the first month free, just to see what it's like.(the first month is free right?)

I don't know if it's the same as WoW, but when I first played WoW I had to put in my credit card number even though my first month was free. They wouldn't let me play without it. It's so they can automatically bill you when your free month is up.

Sigh... I guess I'll just have to wait until I can get a credit card...

You might be able to use a visa/mastercard gift card for the first month. I'm able to buy a visa gift card from my mall for like $0.50. Be careful of some of these cards because they charge you to purchase the card and then they charge you to activate it so it ends up costing you like $20.00 to purchase a card. Another alternative is a prepaid credit card. At 15 I'm not sure you can get one but who knows now a days. Hope it helps[/size][/font][/color]
