Tactics Advanced 2 :D
I <3 mah flashcart, got this the day it was released in America because of it. XD
This game is awesome, I like it more than TA1, although I miss Montblanc. D= The story's still 'eh' (surprise!), a school kid gets pulled into a mysterious world once again, but I still love it. Instead of Montblanc, I have Cid, who is supposedly a Bangaa. Supposedly. IMO, he looks nothing like one. o.0 He's still full of win though. Oh yeah, and I met Vaan and Penelo on the last storyline quest I did. Just briefly though, Vaan was a guest character in the battle. I love that you actually have to do quests to unlock some classes now, instead of just being able to change to them the moment you have enough Action abilities, however, I've run out of abilities for my Seeq to learn, so I've gotta wait for a quest to unlock the Viking or Lanista class. >__< Oh, and laws aren't nearly as bad as before, but that's kinda taken one of the biggest difficulties out of it. o.0 Now you choose a 'clan privilege' (Extra str, spd etc) at the start of the battle, and if you break a law you lose that privelege, and any KO'd characters stay that way until the end of the battle, but the privileges at the beginning are so small I've hardly even noticed the loss, and most characters get KO'd again as soon as I revive them. Therefore, I hardly even notice when my judge leaves anymore. =D Anybody else have or planning to get it? Well, planning to get it soon? =p ![]() "'Woof,' he says... RE: Tactics Advanced 2 :D
I now have at least one of every race in my clan, the Gria took awhile to find.
The Nu Mou I started off with is the only one in my clan that can change to any class so far, and I've unlocked all Nu Mou classes. I'm kinda 50/50 with the Bazaar system in the shops. In number 1 you could get new items in the shops depending on how many quests you'd done, or something like that, but now you've gotta exchange the right combos of loot in the Bazaar to unlock new items. That makes things very painful. >__> I don't have the right items, so I've got a big lack of katanas and bows, not to mention armour (half my characters are still using leather clothing), a bunch of classes have to stop pretty early in terms of learning abilities. On the plus side, Luso's almost mastered the Fighter class. =D I finally figured out what 'MVP' is, after battles sometimes a character will have an 'MVP' icon next to them, Most Valuable Player. There's an MVP statue in the status screen (Tym, mah moogle has the biggest one so far) and apparently, if it's complete then that character's chance of winning a dispatch mission is increased. I've found out that you can ride chocobos in this! I unlocked the Chocobo Knight class for the moogles last night, but so far nobody can use it. I'm not sure if I need to catch a chocobo first, or if the class comes with a chocobo, but apparently while riding a chocobo, the knight can only use choco-abilities, and not their own. Now then, time to master the Fighter class! ![]() "'Woof,' he says... Do I look like a woofer?" ~ Kefka "My life is catnip in your pile. RE: Tactics Advanced 2 :D
I finally got around to playing this on my cart as well Fanta, I think it's great. I'm pretty early in the game still, just after the part where you trap Kat in the rat trap after the tortoise battle. I think this game is so much easier far less frustrating that Tactics War of the Lions. I really like it. Never played TA1 on the GBA but since I'm now playing 2 I probably won't bother.

RE: Tactics Advanced 2 :D
Haha, wait until you need master all the abilities you can.
Waiting for the right loot to exchange at the bazaar made this game so tedious for me, since it kept me stuck on the same classes for so long. It gets alot better after that, though. :D I've actually been thinking about playing this again, and doing a Single Race Challenge. I'm too lazy to do a challenge that'll require alot of effort (like a single character challenge, or something like that) so SRC is perfect, heh. I let all my clan members that weren't Humes go, so for the first few missions, at least, I'm stuck with only two members per battle. ...Or at least, I was, until I got so bored that I stopped. >__> ![]() "'Woof,' he says... Actually, I haven't played this game yet, but I'm saving up my money because I want it so bad! I heard the two new races are completely awesome!
Yeah ~ I heard the graphics were different than the first one, but does that mean worse, or just a lot different, but in a good way? I'm not that sure, to be truthful. :)

I'm still playing it, been doing other things so my DS tends to take a back seat over most everything else. I still say it's a great game.

Grias are awesome, especially because they have WINGS! XD Wings that are better than moogle wings. They can actually use them to fly onto cliffs and stuff. :D Seeqs are pretty meh. The only good Seeq job is Ranger, which is pretty much the most broken class in the game. This game changed my favourite race to Bangaa. ^_^ Quote:Yeah ~ I heard the graphics were different than the first one, but does that mean worse, or just a lot different, but in a good way? Gameplay's fun, and the replay value's pretty decent. I just found it extremely boring in the beginning. ![]() "'Woof,' he says... Do I look like a woofer?" ~ Kefka "My life is catnip in your pile.
