RE: The Villain
Duh, coz it's an easy quote! That's like saying you can quote Auron saying "this is your story" to Tidus. It's simple, easy and annoyingly stupid!
Seymore's a tool! |

RE: The Villain
I think all the Maesters are the games main villain. Not just Seymor or Sin. If you haven't played the game, don't read my post.
Spoiler: Reason I say it's all the Maesters in the game that are the main villain is pretty simple. It's not just a matter of who you're fighting throughout the game, although to qualify as a villain that person does have to act as an obstacle. The Maesters were all aware of what Sin was, and they hid it from the world. Not only that, they ran a cult. Yes a cult, not a religion. They made it taboo to use machina, and they themselves secretly made use of the technology. In this process they also labelled the Al-Bhed as sacreligios enemies of all of Spira. Not only all this. They also all cheated death. ... So I get this feeling we need a new type of spoiler tag.... |

RE: The Villain
Not all of them cheated death. The Ronso maester died and so did Kinoc. It was just Mika and Seymore who were unsent.
But the other's did know about Mika being dead so they are just as bad in a way. However the Ronso maester was very conflicted about all of it, so you can't say he was a main villain. |

RE: The Villain
Was it not the Ronso master who had quite the little speach about how Measter Mika guided them with his wisdom even beyond the realms of death. He seemed not so conflicted to me.
Sure he turned out to be a rather swell guy up there in his mountain crib, but if I am not entirely mistaken it was for reasons unrelated to the ensendings. I am not sure about this as I am trying my best to forgett that this mistake of a "game" was ever created. ![]() ![]() |

RE: The Villain
Nah Im sure the Ronso Maester left for those reasons. Like many in that situation, he just went on the defensive and stood by the other Maesters. I am guessing Yuna moved him. Plus, learning that Seymour killed his father might've had some influence as well.

RE: The Villain
Yeah he went along with the other maester's at first, but when he found out that Seymore killed Jyscal then he decided to go back to Gagazet and turn his back on the maester's.
Plus he believed in Yuna and wanted to help her which is why he let her pass on to the mountain. |
