RE: Final Fantasy X - The Movie
it would be fun if there will be a movie of FF X ^^

does anyone know if Square-Enix is planning to make a new movie? (and i don't mean a movie based on FF X but a movie in general)

The game was pretty much an interactive movie as was, so I disagree about an ACTUAL movie style FFX being bad.

RE: Final Fantasy X - The Movie
I think a MiniSeries works much better for an FF game or any RPG. Generally RPGs have longer stories then other games. A game like Call of Duty 4 might work as a movie because its only a few hours of gameplay if that and that depends on diffiuclty and dieing is not included ina movie. But an RPG can be tens of hours long and has simply to much info to stuff into a movie. So I say either a Miniseries or a trilogy. But either way its unlikly.

Both very good points. I agree with you.

Yes, just hope that if a mini-series ever did come to light it wouldn't be anything like Final Fantasy Unlimited...

RE: Final Fantasy X - The Movie
i have learned never to believe any rumors put out about final fantasy until it actually comes out and i see and ad about it...with out any proof or credibiity then i cant say that, that rumor is true. i wish they would make it a movie but i dont think they will because the game explained everythng far to well and also they made 10-2 which further cleared everything up in 10 with advent children it was made mostly by popular demand and also becuase there were alot of unanswered things in it. maybe they will in 10 but i dont really see it happening because the only thing they could make a movie on is about life for yuna and tidus and everyone after they were together again . but other than that i wouldnt think anything else is worht making a movie on.

RE: Final Fantasy X - The Movie
FFX doesn't need a movie. We finished the story in both games, and everything seemed to be happily ever after.

Besides, with the graphics, cut sceens, etc, the games were practically interactive movies anyway.
